I do have my headlights aimed down with the assistance of the eyelids for more assurance. I have yet to run into any problems with other drivers on the road who acknowledge it by flashing their high beams at me. I have also tested the direction of the light path numerous times while driving behind a friend or driving on a two lane road with a friend who is in an oncoming vehicle. No problems yet (knock on wood). Flashing your brights are one thing but when you hold the brights on an oncoming vehicle let alone hellas which does a lot and goes beyond justifying your acknowledgement that their headlights are too bright, thus blinding both drivers. I say this because I have heard of and seen first hand a vehicle that put the brights on another because they were unable to see, resulting in one vehicle going through a guard rail at 40mph and into a rock wall. Not fun to watch. On the other hand, yes it does irritate me when others' HID's get into my eyes more mainly from the "ricer" cars. If I experience that on the road, especially when they are oncoming, I look at the white line on the right side of the road to ensure I don't leave the pavement, that way I won't be blinded and go off the road at the same time.

Not trying to start a war, just trying to edjucate those who are interested. No opinions here just straight up facts.

Real HID's in projector housings have a razor sharp cut-off that is just below the glass on cars, so when a car that is behind you hits a bump that bounces the front end up a little, that is when you get flashed with light. Halogens have a scattered light, so this isn't an issue. Going from complete darkness to full on brightness can be blinding. You just cannot look directly into the light.
Besides Feej, you got 18% tint on the rear window to cut down on most of the light!

Ricer HID P'n'P kits are the same as yours. Bright and blinding. No way around it. Only diff is that since you have a truck, you can afford to aim them lower since your higher up which will help in the added scatter in oncoming traffics eyes.
Normal aim is 30ft away from a wall and the beam pattern should be 2" lower than the actual height of the bulb. i would go 4" lower and you should be fine. There will still be scatter, but the beam won't go directly into anyone's eyes.

Those do nothing to stop scatter, they just look good...lol

This was an Infinity specific recall because they totally funked up the design of them. There was an area in the middle of the beam pattern that went straight up to the treetops. Like a ladder against a wall. The projectors were horribly misaligned as well when the highs kicked on. Also, most manufacturers still have the passenger light too high right from the factory because they are still using the halogen aiming standards. The issue has nothing directly related to HID projector lights themselves. This was an isolated incident. Ohh, they also had an issue with fogging if you even cared...lol

Factory projectors do not suck. Well, some of them do, but those are still much better than aftermarket halogen projectors.
It's just those particular projectors had an issue and were resolved.

Do mine suck? Don't think so.

Lowest level of OEM projectors are still better than the best halogen light.

ohh you should do so. They are just brilliant. The cut off is something thats need to be adjusted to. It can be very blinding for very curvy ups/downs roads because there is no glare like the halogens provide almost on error..lol But the highbeam is beautyful and if i need more I always got my Hellas.
