Aggresive Tires on your 20's?
In what I consider the "aggressive" catagory, you got Baja Claws which are awesome everywhere but on slick roads (sorry, with a category specific tire you gotta give up something). Also Boggers (which will last about 3 weeks on pavement and are down right dangerous on wet highways) and a few other offerings such as Nitto Mud Grapplers.
If this is a daily driver, at least go with an aggressive M/T with some road features. Toyo M/Ts, Nitto Trail Grapplers, Mickey MTZs, Cepek Mud Countries are all fairly aggressive M/T tires that won't get you killed on the road.
In more of an A/T or less aggressive M/T you got Mickey ATZs, Nitto Terra Grapplers, Cepek Fun Countrys, Toyo A/Ts and BFG M/Ts.
Then you got the less aggressive A/Ts and fairly aggressive street tires like the Cooper LTZ, General Grabber, BFG, etc.
Just depends on how you define "aggressive"...

I came across a set of BFG AT 275/65/20 for $250 a tire new which I have been finding for upwards of $350. What are your thoughts on this tire? The Firestone Desination A/T has a better reivew at $165 a tire but not as meaty looking ither and is 275/60/20....
THoughts ?
THoughts ?
I would recommend Mickey Thompson ATZs if they have them in the size you are looking for. ATZs make just enough noise to remind anyone a 4x4 is comin down the road. Not obnoxious but audible. Just the way I like it.
PRESTON AND STEVE ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry couldnt help myself.
