Default fog lights

So I am thinking about ordering a set of yellow hid bulbs for my foglights for winter, I have matching 6000k hid's in my fogs as I do my headlights right now, but it gets pretty foggy here where I am at and I know yellow is a better cutting agent in the fog... it would be a winter set, then back to the 6000k lights in the summer, what do you guys think?

Thumbs up

I can't really comment on HID bulbs but I do like the conventional HELLA high wattage offroad bulbs in yellow for cutting through the fog. Let us know how your yellow HID choice works out.

do it! thats what i wanna do is put the yellow hid fogs in my truck. it looks sick. and even if you wanted to have a second set for the summer, it would take like 3 or 4 bolts and a plug to change 'em out...

3 or 4 bolts? What would I need those for? All I have to switch is the bulbs, and total cost is $45 for the new bulbs, they should be able to run off the same ballast shouldn't they? They don't make different ballasts for different temperatures. I think I am going to do it, it's an easy cheap mod that will be very good for winter fog driving

I was actually thinking about this yesterday, except i have 8000k hids so I would swap the fogs during winter and then again in spring, seems like a good idea, you can get better visibility in a snowstorm with yellow hid's anyway.
