Default Help w/06 Ram lower console convesion

I want to remove the lower/floor cup holder console in my regular cab 2006 2500 Ram 4 x4 so the floor is open for the center passenger to place their feet. Does anyone know of a reference source for converting from the floor cup holder to the stand alone 4x4 console piece. I've discussed this with the parts counter guys at the local Dodge dealer a couple times and they are not overly helpful. Do all the 2006 Rams have the floor mounted cup holders? I'm getting the impression from the dealer that they don't but they can't seem to help me out with the parts I need to convert my dash after I take the floor pieces out.

Any help is appreciated.

Great picture. That's what I'm looking for. It appears that I may need to change part of the dash to accommodate that style cup holder. I would be satisfied with no cup holder though. I just want my wife to be able to sit next to me comfortably. Thanks very much.

Sharp truck. I'll compare your lower dash pics to mine and see if it will work. I wish the dealership was more helpful. I'm sure they would be if I had purchased the truck from them. Thanks again.

no problem i thought you had the 4x4 shift on the floor like this

then you would have to do more than change out the floor console

The last picture is exactly what my lower console looks like. I see now that the drop down cup holder won't work with my truck as the 4x4 shift lever will be in the way. I suppose I can use the same pieces and just not utilize the cup holder. I wonder if there were any other interior options available that year. I haven't been able to locate any on the Internet. Thanks again for posting the pictures.
