rotating directioal tires...

Default rotating directioal tires...

i need to rotate my tires today or tomorrow when i get the chance might as well since i have nothing important to do...now they are directional do i just put the fronts on the back or do i need to do like fds to psr and viseversa or what...in the past i have done the x deal like stated but with directionals im lost iknow this is simple but im trying to do whats right....i think i can only go dsf to dsr and same on pass side....correct me if im wrong....

For directional tires the rears go straight forward and fronts go straight back.

Directional tires mean they can only be driven one way. If you were to put a pass. side tire on the driver side, you would change the direction and it would be wrong.
All the arrows on the tires need to face the front of the vehicle.
A passenger side tire has the arrow facing clockwise direction. when you move that tire to the driver side, it faces the wrong way. And since most directional tires have an inside/out to them, they can only be mounted one way. Meaning you can't just buy one tire and put in on any corner. You need to buy a right or a left tire.
Hopefully that helps a bit.

Not even sure what your saying?

He is talking about rotating tires not buying replacements.

well guys i rotated my tires and i did think they were directional from the print (thread)after inspecting them they are not directional but its done and over with....and yes dirty thats exactly what i was thinking about the directionals.....but atleast its done and after inspecting alot of stuff underneath my truck all looks good except the slightly warped rotors in the front which ill take care of as soon as i have the money i will replace them along with pads
