Tested my tow loops today on a GM, and a race..
Dude, it's a Dodge. It isn't designed to fail like the other brands of trucks out there. If you break a Dodge, you're really doing something wrong. Just saying from experience.
he has 3.73s.. thats what z71s run... those trucks will scoot my buddy has one.. but my ram scoots just a little faster haha
Do you have the 3.92's on yours? I know my truck with the 3.92's definitely gets a jump on my buddies 08 chevy z71 with the 3.73s, but those newer trucks are designed well and he was able to run up to me and pass me after that, but my shifting is somewhat disappointing at the moment, my shift kit isnt matching up because the guy before me turned all the wot shift point down to lower rpms, otherwise I think I could probably run even with him, but I wouldnt be able to outrun him until I get the new intake, throttle body, exhaust and sct tuner set up.
yeah, i got 3.92's but he never catches up... once my truck gets wound out i stretch the distance, but than again, the hemi performs better at high rpms while the 5.9 is more of a torque monster. i also have a tuner, so my speed limiter is set at 140 while his kicks in at around 100... but he gave up and let off before we got going that fast. lol
I'm curious to see how you bolted those to your truck. The ones I made were set farther apart using the bumper bolt holes. Can we see a close up the hooks? Or is there a post on here for the hooks?
that's what i'm thinking, you high center to TEST tow hooks, wtf? he'd been a little screwed if the hooks didn't work out. glad they did their job.
well it the tow hooks didnt work, i coulda turned around and used the hitch...
