I guess it comes down to what you are looking for out of a tuner. As far as the canned tunes, they are about the same. Nothing there to make you go for one over the other. If you plan on doing custom tuning and the DSP supports your trans then go with the DSP. If you are just going to do bolt on's, then go with SC. The new trans controls that SC is going to release are awesome (I am currently running the beta version).
Same reason I have the DSP for my 06......The Tranny control is nice. I have never had the superchips, but for my year truck I think its better......
A lot depends on what year your truck is.

For you SC lovers, what type of superchip(s) would you recommend?

thanks for all your responses. I am doing just bolt on mods right now. intake, exhaust maybe headers later in it even is worth it. I heard the hemi headers are good enough from stock.
I dont have any plans to do internal mod i.e. camshaft or any turbo/super charger. it almost sounds like a 50/50 split and cant go wrong either way.

Any idea on when the new trans control functions will be officially released? I can't wait for the "near future" to come along so that the rest of us can enjoy it. I'm getting tired of my eratic shifting.

for the 02 get the 3815. you won't gain anything with the more expensive 3865 on an 02. a used 3815 can probably be had for like $175 now
