There should be no mention of Toyotas in this forum,RAV 4's are fine I guess if you have a family of midgets, have you ever been in one? They are tiny! Jeep Grand Cherokee is nice and family friendly,If you want sport get the SRT8....

"Motivating the SRT8 is a high-output Hemi V8 engine, displacing 6.1 liters and pumping out 420 horsepower and an equal 420 pound-feet of torque.

Power is sent through a five-speed AutoStick automatic transmission to all four wheels via Jeep's Quadra-Trac Active on Demand system. The transmission provides an exceptionally smooth ride and shifting while reducing fuel consumption. The AutoStick function allows it to be shifted by the driver when the mood strikes.

Acceleration from zero to 60 miles per hour happens in under five seconds. The top speed is around 150 mph."

Seriously though thats probably gonna be a little out of your price range, I can't say enough good things about Grand Cherokees but if the lady wants a Nitro and that will make her happy then get the lady a Nitro! Man only wants a few things in life and the secret to getting most of those things is keeping the wife happy

I say JEEP SRT8. But back to the Nitro... They don't make a SRT model.

I actually like the look of some nitros, however I'd never buy one. The Nitro was rated in the top 11 worst vehicles for 2008 by consumer reports.

And there is also not an SRT Nitro... only SE, SLT, R/T (07-09) and SE or SXT (2010)
