the one on the dak came out right about 160 lbs. this one will be a bit more heavy... i would guess around 200-225 or so, getting line-x on monday, after that i will throw it on my scale.

no, doesnt look like he wants a winch, but set up where one could be added later, there will be vents cut in the center, and lights will be mounted on the lower grille guard tube

WOW! Thats some fast fabrication work! My road armor bumper was a lil more than 150lb. I figure It'll be up to about 250lb after the winch goes on (it weighs 85, plus lights, etc.)

I like the bumper for the most part. I'm just not sold on the light guards. I would think that if you hit a deer at 50MPH+ that the center section is going to be in your grill. Or just visually it needs a something stronger around the lights. Other than that it looks cool! Can't wait to see the final product.

as far as the grille guard and light guards... no deer at any speed will move them, thoes pics are crap, the light guards are 1, 1/4 in solid, and the up rights are 3/8 plate, the grille tubes are 2, 1/2 inch 1/4 wall, the bumper brackets are also 3/8 and and there are quite a few gussets behind there too, the rest of the bumper is 3/16... i just need some good pics, and just might have under estimated the weight

one other thing, this MC is on 10in lift and 37's, so it would have to be the worlds tallst deer to get to it, but maby an elk could get to it but still wont hurt this thing

Looks great! The bumper on the Dak looks heavier-duty that the truck does! LOL
