damn, that sounds pretty sick Teach, if I were to go this route, is there a specific company that I should look into who makes these?

Just wait until I get my LT's on in a couple weeks, I think it is going to sound even better.

There are a few brands out there that make the cutout. I personally like the DMH, it has the longest warranty available and I have never had a problem with it.

u might need the smaller piping one since u have a 4.7 but i would check to make sure. that one is only 78

I'm pretty sure my exhaust piping is 2.5", you guys have 3"?

Did you guys do this yourself or go to shop and have them cut the piping for you?

I did it myself. Cut out a section of the intermediate pipe before the muffler, put in the dump pipe, installed the cutout valve, wired it up and away I went.

30 bucks to weld it in for me. that includes cutting out the pipe.
