the y pipe is at the front of the truck. in my pic is right before the cutout where those two pipes meet

umm the stock y pipe is crap and doesnt flow well at all

its not installed. dont have it yet lol. but ive read better throttle response, slightly louder tone and 5hp

I have the 4.7L...I think you should get the 3in cutout, because when i got my flowmaster i got the 3inlet/dual 2.5in outlet, and when i order my raceland cutout im getting the 3 inch cutout.

yeah newer gen is the reason I assume? I'm sure the 2.5 will be able to be clamped on mine no problems
