its still in the tranny shop. took forever for the guy to start working on it.
went to the local grocery store the other day for breakfast the other day and guess what was parked in front of the store?? MY TRUCK!!!! went in and found the guy, and boy you should have seen the look on his face!!

he had my truck for a week already and had been driving it around i guess, so i had some words with him and wow, later that day he called and had the tranny apart and parts ordered for it. i guess he felt bad for driving it, he ended up getting some upgraded parts from sonnex or whatever it is and is using upgraded bands and what not.
getting new tq converter and everything and he completly media blasted the housing and re-painted it and everything. only costing me $100 with my warrenty.
hopefully today is the day. which really doesnt matter too much as im loosing my license on the 15th for 30 days. but ive got alot of upgrading and modding planned for those 30 days.

 

wow, that sucks. hopefully you do get it back today. story reminds me of when my dad and i had our old 68 bronco in the shop getting some work done, then my dad and i see it broken down on the side of the road. turns out the mech was driving around with it, cut a turn too sharp, hit the rear end on a curb and bent the rear axle something fierce. my dad was PISSED. we got a whole new rear end out of it though.

 

ya , this guy got the warrenty company to pay for better than stock parts, although i dont think he told them that.
i also cant wait to change my sig pic.

 

That's crazy!!! I would've gone ape s***. I wouldn't have had to pay the $100, he would've eaten that too. Btw, Dui's suck, if that's why you're losing your license.

Man I can't believe he was driving your truck on his own time...I would take his *** to court

 

I would be pissed as well. At least he didn't try to give some bs excuse that he was making sure everything worked or something.
