I tried that a few years ago. After my step dads stroke in '06, I bought his car ('01 Hyundai Accent) from my mom for $2500. Mint condition and only 34,000 miles on a 5 year old car! It was under $8000 new and KBB trade was only $2850 on the thing. I was gonna leave my truck parked and pile mileage up on the 36 mpg little car. YEAH RIGHT!!!
The thing was no fun to drive and getting my 6'3", 280 lb. frame in and out of the thing was not fun at all. I found myself leaving the thing parked and taking the truck even on little hops around town.
Ended up selling the car for $3000 to one of my step dad's nurses and buying my Grand Cherokee for a daily driver. Now I'm lifting and modding that too...

I kinda wish I had something like that again my dam self. Right before I got my Ram, I was DD'ing an old '87 Accord I picked up from the ol man for $100. He bought it for $100 from a customer, fixed 5th gear, and sold it to me.

But, I traded my Grand Cherokeee I also had in for a Frontier (for gas mileage purposes, yeah right), so I sold the Honda for $1000 so I could take the wife to Atlantic City for our 1yr. Everything was a mistake, selling the car, getting the Frontier, and going that dam far up north, lol.

I say rock it till the wheels fall off, can't argue with no charge
