Default Douglas Headers and Magnaflow exhaust

I have Douglas Headers and a Magnaflow full exhaust. I was wondering if I take the Cat off of it will it hurt anything. I am looking for a little bit more noise even though my setup is pretty loud as is. Let me know on the Sound and the Performance side what I can expect to HEAR as well as FEEL.

if you take the CAT off, the down stream O2 sensor will cause he computer to throw a fault code. not to mention if you get pulled over cause the exhaust is too loud the cop will look to see what you have, and when the CAT is missing thats a huge fine.

leave it on!

Does anyone make a highflow cat for whatever engine you have? That would certainly be an option.

There are several high flow Cat makers...just do a search. Keep in mind the hemis are tuned and engineered very well so removing the cat will offer little more then increased sound. Even the high flow cats wont be noticed unless you are running/loading the truck hard and heavy.
