Maybe it was just where I was when I went to CA (just north of LA) but I honestly didn't see many trucks at all. And very few big trucks and I only saw 1 lifted truck while I was there. Seemed like everyone had beamers, lexus, mercedes or even something we could park in our truck beds. It was just a lot different from here in north FL and south GA where there seem to be more trucks than cars on the roads. 
But like I say, that was probably due to the area I was in too.

You have an awesome truck. So, you're wanting to lift it and get away from that 2/5 drop? What kinda height are you looking for? I'm guessing you have a 2wd and not 4 by since you have the drop. Just let us all know what you're looking for, people on here will surely give you a hand and they are all really knowledgeable. welcome again.

+1 on that. several lakes around here for fresh water fishing and tons of day-long and overnight ocean tours for some serious fun off the coast, especially when you start getting closer to ensenada and cabo. then theres the sea of cortez on the other side of baja, great times over there in the warmer waters too
