Default AC Output Slows OR Quits 06 RAM 1500 5.7L

Over The last summer I noticed after driving about 25-40 miles continuously the AC output started to basically slow or just felt not very cold at all and the fan you could hear like it was trying to blow but put your hand next to the vent and it was not cold at all could barely feel much at all. Do all i need to do is get it recharged or is there some other issue. cause i can turn it off wait bout 15 more miles turn it back on and it starts all over again. but will eventually do it again. Thanks for any knowledge of the problem or if anyone else has experianced the same.

it wouldnt hurt to get it checked for a recharge, but the rams are known for having inferior A/C. Are you "recycling" the air? Make sure its on the setting that keeps reusing the same air, not inhaling the hot humid outside summer air. Its easier to keep cool air cold than it is to cool hot air.
