Default Rim scratches and gouge

Alright my rims have some minor scratches in them and one recently got a curb gouge i can't remember doing. I'm pissed but I would much rather not by new rims. I was reading methods online on like filling the gouge with body filler or something, then sanding the rim down and refinishing it. Any advice on if its worth it? Or I might have to buy at least one new rim. By the way, they are the Aluminum 20's no the chrome clads.

If you bring it to a rim place they actually fill the gouges with aluminum and polish it like new

hmm I'm gonna try to look for a rim place first. See how much it would cost. Wanna clean them up plus the plastic coating is starting to peel a bit. So they are looking pretty crappy at the moment.
