Where does my block heater cord plug into?
Thanks guys i found it. it doesn't just plug directley to the block there is a piece bolted to the block that comes out and goes out to by the back of the starter. not super hard to get at but not very easy to see.
LOL, I'd hope so...horsepower, TQ, and displacement are different as well.
You should get an auto ejector. Once your ignition is started, it automatically pushes the plug out, and you have nothing to worry about. We use them on all of our fire trucks and they work great. I plan on mounting one through my bumper once the cash is available. Here is the link...

rubber there is a heater cord that goes from the heater to the front bumper... i think thats what came off for some reason. its supposed to be ziptied in place all the way through the engine compartment to the bumper. you use an extension cord (i have one on a spool i carry in the truck) to plug the cord into the wall
No sh*t brother...but being a mechanic....I usually just work on older vehicles,..4x4's and muscle cars. But regardless,...the concept is the same...frost plug out...blockheater unit in...plug-in cord to that. *(AF Hemi..."suposed to be zip tied all the way through..." ...exactly my man...exactly!
