Default ABS Sensors?

So I had my truck in today at the stealership, because the ABS was not working. No idiot light, just wasn't working. I have rear only ABS. They said the FRONT wheel sensor was causing it not to work. Does that make sense? Why would the front sensor control the rear ABS? Its all under warranty, so whatever, but they are going to replace the sensor next week, so we will see.

There still needs to be a front sensor for the rear to detect if it is locked up or not in relation to each others wheel speed. It is however weird that no lights have appeared.

I thought the same thing. I even scanned with my predator and nothing. They did say the sensor was bad though. I know It for sure was not working. I could slam on the breaks and lock all 4 wheels up and slide 100ft on the ice.....NO ABS! oh well hopefully the sensor will take care of it. Thanks
