[Stupid Question] Uh 4x4?

So I bought a truck online (1st mistake) and low and behold to my surprise it doesn't have 4wd which was clearly posted (2nd mistake). So now I'm stuck with either converting it over to 4wd or selling it and buying a different truck. Its an 07 Ram 1500 and from what I've read on the internet, its a huge pain in the *** and fairly expensive to convert over. Any one have any advice ?
Always go and physically look at what you are buying if you can
Basically the seller listed it as a 2wd but you thought it was a 4wd and jumped all over it because of the price I bet? Or did the seller list as 4wd and is actually a 2wd?
If you already paid for the truck...Your S>O>L. You are going to loose a ton. Not worth it IMO to convert. Entire front suspension needs to be changed, front differential, transfercase, new 4wd transmission, all the odds and ends to go with. my guess is close to $3-4k at a Bargain install with used parts.

False advertisement. You were told it was a 4x4, which it is not. Talk to the guy who you bought it from to get a refund of your money. If he says no, tell him you will see him in civil court. No lawyer needed. Make him pay you the money back, the court fees and a nice "causing me a hassle" fee. Go to a dealership when buying a vehicle

Buying a truck online is not always a problem. I sold my last Ram on eBay to another local guy and it was a good truck. I always maintained it and had put some nice upgrades on it. It is when you buy from someone who is trying to take advantage of people where you run into problems.

And we can't give anything but "opinions" at this point, we still don't know what the hell is going on, lol. The bold is for the OP.
For the record, Frog was the only real negative one here

Well there's not much to the story... I read tow package and for some un-f*ckin known reason my brain decided to take that as 4wd. I could seriously use a good kick to the baby maker, but I guess its to late to do much now. The truck wasn't posted wrong or anything, it didn't say 4wd or 2wd which is a little sneaky but by no means grounds for me getting my money back. Anyways, from what it seems, it looks like my best bet is to sell it quick and hopefully not lose much money...
