Default MPG affect?

Has anyone experienced a decrease in MPG with the LTZ's?

I would think because of the larger treads and improved traction there will be more drag than the wranglers. I'd be willing to bet people see a slightly decrease in mpg. (yes running same size as prior)

About my third drive with the new LTZ's... Conditions are 28 degrees, light snow, asphalt lightly covered less than 1", some ice. Back end will kick out in 2wd with any slightly-aggressive turn or acceleration. 4wd lock it feels predictable with good stability.

I am disapointed... From a dead stop, backing up to the garage door on paved driveway with a small incline 2wd would not cut it. Maybe less than 1" of snow cover with some ice.

Added 300lbs over the rear axle, and although some improvement still 2wd would not get it up to the door.

That would happen with any tire in 2wd on a incline on snow and ice. These trucks are extremely light in the rear with a lot of torque going to the tires. You have to be easy on the skinny pedal when driving on snow in 2wd.
