I went and ate after my last post and didn't hear the noise anymore. Mine just started outta nowhere over night and has seem to have gone away. I wouldn't worry about it too much unless it continues for a long time. If you ever take it in to have it checked out let me know what you find out or if mine comes back maybe I'll have mine looked at.

 

I am thinking it may be my exhaust - it is a cheap ($32) Thrush two chamber.....I am thinking that it is rattling apart inside....I am actually getting a Magnaflow installed tomorrow morning dumped. I have been wanting to do that anyway, so now is a good a time as any.....what tha hell? Now if it still makes the noise, I will be pissed! LOL

 

I've got an 18 inch 3" in 3" out magnaflow dumped just passed the axle. I don't know how loud you want, the 18 inch is pretty loud but not over bearing I almost got a 14 inch but a guy at Magnaflow talked me out of it and tried to get me to buy a 20 inch cus the 4.7s get loud.

 

Well, I had the Magnaflow installed this morning....the case is 14" long 3" I/O.....
Sounds very deep and mellow....I like it.

More importantly, the hissing sound that started this whole mess is gone so far! That Thrush two chamber was so raspy and my wife hated it! I think maybe it was starting to break apart inside.
