Lift kits
I have read it all on this site on lifting our trucks. I have an 04 1500 SLT 4x4. All the cheap ways to lift your truck are for the 2wd trucks (why lift 2wd). Now the leveling kit many mixed posts on those but solid info the are the way to go for leveling. From what Iv researched on the keys they are bad on the front end. I want to build my own 4'' lift but where do you get individual parts from fabtech or skyjacker. Don't really want to pay $700 or more for a lift kit there has to be a cheaper way to lift these trucks. Any one got any input or links that i have missed on mixed lift kits?
you cant buy a part hear and their like you think you can from a major suspenison compony
my recomendation is go to topgunz customes .com and get each indavidual part you need . or you can do a 3" body lift and 1" block or add a leaf in the rear and turn your keys just a touch and get 4" tottal.
and i know i cant spell sorry lol

The right way to do it is with a suspension lift, but not in your budget. Only proper way to do it is to level it (not the death wobble issue it is with the coil over fronts) and a body lift combo.
The keys will stiffen up the front a bit, but over-all the ride quality will be fairly close to stock, except a bit more body lean because of the higher center of gravity...
