Sorry if i don't make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside ramhunter. I know johnny can do great work and I've seen it; but adding word art on top of a jpeg file is far short of impressive. That can be done in under a minute. If people are going to be paying money for these then they deserve a calaender with a ltttle more effort and thought put into it. It makes no difference to me who the cover is done by. I need to grow up? You need to realize truth hurts.

I don't think got_hemi was saying the work johnny is doing is half assed. I think he was saying let's look at a few options. Why is that bad?

Put a deadline for cover art submission (whatever RH thinks is appropriate, and then let's pic the best one. I love pic 1 post 171, but let's see a few others and then decide.

I like straight shootin, get to the point kind of folks, but this isn't the military. We're all paying money for this thing.

 

pic 1 on post 171 looks great and i personally think the stuff johnny does is top notch i yet have seen anything gothemi has done not being a dick or fueling the fire but johnny has hundreds of things posted on this and other forums in a timly manner and have come out fantastic just look at my sig....and its not just a jpeg with art after it....this calendar thing is turning into a pissing match just like the top 12 did its rediculous friggen grown men acting like my 8 yr old.....and if we dont get this ball rolloing january will be a wash cause who will actually be able to use that month and appreciate who get on it....and whats going on with jan11 id like to see af hemi on it if yall can ....sorry for the lil rant but jeez..... hunter throw down son you got this ....put this in the works lets go....

 

agreed frog .. the deadline for the calander members is the 30th of this month to get your 2 pics in to bullet via PM
we will make the 28th of this month deadline for all cover submissions. Cover submisions should have hammers pic in it . the pic johny had posted is the one we are doing . please include something DF related like johnny did .
after the 28th we will vote on the cover pic on the 29th. the winning cover will then be completed along with the 2 membre pics by the 30th and we can get this wraped up
