Headlight question

Default Headlight question

So basically I want my headlights to look like this...



I've read around here with people telling me its in the DIY section but I can't find it?
What all do I need to do this?

you can take the headlights out and tint them, or go out and by "smoked out" headlights

I think he is talking about painting them. Thats what they look like to me.

i think dirtydog wrote the diy, i could never find it either, though i have seen a link to it somewhere.
its very simple though. just heat the headlights up in your oven a lil bit and pull the lenses off of the housing. then paint and reassemble with silicone.

Take them off, put them in the oven at 170* for 15mins and pull them apart. You may have to put them back in once or twice more if you dont get them apart in time before the glue or sealant starts to cool. Then tape them off carefully and paint them. When you are dontput them back in the oven to heat the sealant and press them together really good to reseal them.
