I do agree, Oklahomas know how to freak out when the weather gets bad. All 3 OKC news stations were going all day covering it. Whats funny though is the number of ppl around here in 4x4s that'll get out and think they can do 65 no prob.

 

Amen to that. I don't watch tv, the only reason why I found that the highways were shut down was my dad, cause he heard it on the TV & was telling me to stay home. It's sad when they 'report' on the snow in the state, don't these people have better things to do?!? C'mon people, get a life! If they were prepared for this s**t to begin with they would not have the panic and BS that they do every time an inch of snow hits the streets.

One of those idiots you mentioned in 4x4's was one of the ones I helped out of the bank, he slid and fishtailed about 50 yrds in front of us. It was funny cause my father and I were talking about 4x4 and how we would have handled this s**t in Colorado and then we saw that happen... He shook his head & I told him to pull over so I could help the 4x4 SUV out of it... LMAO. When I was done I came back to the car & said 'I guess being on DF and learning about this s**t about trucks & all that actually did pay off'

i cant get any one else from ok to post on here for nothing and the boom. i just opened my blinds and laughed as everone lost control and got stuck in front of my house.

I got stuck today...

I will say though, not to make anyone mad. My 96 Grand Cherokee with the select-trac would outdo my 01 Ram 4x4 anyday on mud and ice. I miss driving that thing.

 

the envoy i sold to get my tahoe was unstopable. i could get t hat thing stuck if i tried, and i did. my wife got the hoe stuck a 5 am on the street. i had to get up and get her out
