so I have a 2003 dodge with the 5.7 hemi that i just installed the sts turbo system for. my first problem is that the truck will run fine a boost the way it should but then will pull codes for the throttle body, it will also try to shut my truck off after it pulls those codes. I have the preditor programer i was wondering if i need to get a special tune for the truck or if sts sends one out?

I dont know to much about this but I would think you would need a custom tune not just a programmer. IDK, it might be fine in that aspect but the code is thrown for a problem in the TB for sure er?

 

Contact STS themselves... you should have had a shop tune your truck with the diablo/SCT tuner they provide in their kits. That SHOULD have worked out the engine code problem before it began.

Well the STS website shows locations of certified STS peoples...hopefully you are close to one? Otherwise call some shops that do trubos and just ask if they can help with your situation. Just don't go to some Tuffy and let them scratch their heads and 'try' stuff.

 

YES! Dont do that. And you did not know about anything of this when you got the STS!? Dangerous.
