need help with Ram 1500
2WD. I went for a basic - easy to fix? - engine.
I googled "u-joint replacement" and found a DIY summary. Is it expensive and time-consuming to replace? I've repaired/replaced alot on my trucks over the years, but nothing like this.
Thanks for the help!

I've never owned or worked on a 2WD truck before so I actually don't know what the front end consists of, 2WD trucks are nearly useless in New England snow storms. It definitely sounds like a front end problem though.
If it's up front, then I would start by jacking it up and spin the tires. You may have something wrong with the hub where it goes into the spindle. It may not be spinning correctly. Whatever it may be, I would start on the left. If you go around a right corner and you hear it more, the weight of the truck is leaning on the left side.
