I received a remote starter for Christmas. Anyone ever put one in? How difficult is it? Any advice would be appreciated. I have a 2001 Ram 1500. THANKS!!
Search the web for Bulldog security. There site has great info on what color wires to look for when hooking up remote start and alarms.It also gives you the location of the wires. Just be very careful there are a couple wires in the steering colum that if you cut or even probe it can deploy your air bag, so make sure you unhook the battery and watch what wires your are messing with. I just hooked up an alarm and remote door locks in my sons car, it is not that bag just time consuming.I have a remote start in my Ram and love it. Good luck
