Well the good news is I got my headers, cats and new piping all on this afternoon. Bad news is I didn't get down there to pick up the hood on Friday, something came up. I am going on Monday morning to get her.

BTW, did I mention that LT's rock!

How do they sound with the cutouts???

 

Deafening. It is actually too loud to drive around like that, at least for me.

 

if its too loud your too old teach. cant wait to see the hood on, i am planning on looking at a 2 "cowl hood locally soon.

 

I must be too old then bc I couldn't drive it like that all the time. There is a decibel meter app on my phone that I bought a while back, I am going to try it later to see what the decibel level is in the cab with the cutout open.

 

Here is a quick pic I took of the hood with my phone. Still need to finish adjusting it but this should give you an idea of how it looks on the truck. First impression is that the cowl is huge and I like it. I will get a profile pic so you can see what I mean.
