I effed up...
I have PaintPrep which cleans metal surface and clear coat of grease/wax...etc
I used the stuff to clean up VHT nightshades off of my corner driectional when i sprayed too much. Only thing was i cleaned it within a day. After a few days, that VHT sets up and becomes super hard.

rh- they're the ones in the front... one on each side of the overhead readout... push them to turn them on and off....
im pretty sure i'm not going to be able to get this stuff off because of the pitted/textured plastic...

go to the autoparts store and get Aircraft paint stripper. I was cleaning something with it the other day, had two pair of my hospital nitrile gloves on and it ate through them with just a few drops. It would have to clean that up.
well then this would probably eat through his plastic as well
Don't use Toluene or regular aircraft stripper on plastic. It will react with the plastic. Call an expert like someone mentioned before. If you just want to pull the trigger, I believe there is an aircraft stripper just for plastics, but it might also react with the dome lights. You need to know what the dome light is made of. The light cover might have what plastic was used molded into the cover itself somewhere (ABS, PVC, etc...)
