Default OD on while normal driving?

I have been experiencing my truck going into over drive or while light throttle just off the line or just going through a turn...if I take OD off..its ok. Do you guys drive yours with OD for most driving around town or dont you have problems with this? I thought it was the MDS at first but if I take it out of OD it seems to be better...I dont think driving with OD off would hurt my truck none but..is this one of those issues I always seem to have a nobody else?

I drive with OD off around town. On hilly highways I'll take it in and out of Tow/Haul mode.

It's not the OD your experiencing. it's the MDS that is turning on. It kicks out 4cyl. very annoying right? i disabled mine with my Diablo predator and the truck drives and shifts like it should. it's not a shifting wandering nightmare like it was with the MDS enabled. What a crock that crap is. The 4cyl isn't enough to keep a big heavy truck moving through the air at highway speeds either. Mine always slowed down, then MDS would kick out and the truck would speed up and then the MDS would kick back in and the truck would slow down again...POS mds sucks.
how bout that for a morning rant...lol
My MDS would kick in at any speed over 20mph although Chrysler claims over 30mph..I say BS And the 4ms (4 milliseconds) to kick in and out is false. truck takes forever to kick out of mds to drop down a gear and get up and moving. I'd suggest getting a tuner and disabling that feature if your having issu'es with it like i was and everybody else that doesn't drive like Miss Daisey.

Both O/D off and Tow/Haul mode will disable MDS, but you must activate one of the two everytime you re-start the truck. PIA and then you won't have O/D on the highway..etc

oh..i just thought it was OD since it quit when I took it out..I didnt know those modes would disable the MDS. I have plans to buy the SC Cortex Programmer as soon as I can afford the exhaust ...find some headers and a CAI. I wanted longtubes...gibson makes some funky lookin thing for my truck. I may look into a bored TB from Fastman too. I dont know if Ill have to mess with the timing if I only put those mods on. all I know I spanked somebody last night,lol...my truck kinda shifts funny...if its wet it will peal, then stop with a weird sound, then take off. if its dry it wont peal at all..
