Better MPG in 4x4

I understand the logic of using it completely. I also understand that when your transfer case is in 2WD everything spins no matter what, however I know that for my dad's 02 powerstroke and my 05 wrangler, the manuals said dont go faster than 40 MPH in 4WD.

It was just an observation. Im going to go ahead and try not to do 100 MPH in 4WD though. Thanks guys!

Thats when you go to engage it in 4x4 dont be going faster than 40 i had a 98 wrangler. And yes im all set with doing 100 in 4x4 60 i feel is pushing it
