Default Which Ram do i get??

Bahhh! I've been looking for the perfect ram 1500 for the longest time. Ideally I would want to see the 5.7 hemi with a manual trans but that's not an option. Anyhoo - I'm trying to push my decision one way or another on this. I'm looking at either a 2008 4x4 QC 4.7L (manual trans!!!!) with about 30k miles for hopefully ~$18k - boy is it hard to find the 2008 with a manual - or.... one of many 2004-2006 5.7L hemi 4x4 (pref QC) with an auto trans (booo!) with around 40-70k miles and for $13-15k.

My most important requirements are:
1. DODGE RAM 1500!!!
2. 4x4
3. Power.
4. Prefer a manual trans.
5. Quad cab is nice.
6. Keeping it under 70k miles

I was looking specifically at the 08 4.7L because it's the last to offer the manual and also has the nice 310hp updated 4.7 - but i would also love a hemi. I find manual's wayyy more fun to drive though. Let me know your thoughts guys. btw - $18k is REALLY far into my price range (i'd make the exception for the only 2008 4x4 with the manual 4.7 i could find though)

Hit me the pro's, con's and maybe what you would go for! I'm lookin for a daily drive and off-road machine. (live in snowy rochester NY)
