i wonder if you can put some chrome on those bolts. i think they still look good. remember these are trucks so theres no point in buying $2000 rims .

back when you were happier...haha yea those were badass and you got a great deal on them didnt you? Im trying to find some alum stock 20"s to trade my chrome ones for to get powdercoated black

I think they look awesome without those Micky Mouse inserts. I have been contemplating getting those exact rims, but the inserts kept me at bay.

How did you take them out? Do they just unscrew or did you break them off? I want to take them off, paint them and insert them back.

And, you are absolutely right... Finding black rims is extremely difficult. Not too many out there.

Hmm, didn't realize XD did that to some of their rims and not others.. The inserts on my monsters are metal and part of the rim.

just get some vise grips then pull hard. all they are, are plastic plugs so the vise grips will smash them, if you want to put them back it, just order new ones from the factory, paint those.

Rockstars are the same way.. The bolts are plastic. I want to paint them too but like KX said, when you pull them out, they get crushed. =\
