or you could hook up each light to a seperate battery.

you could throw a diesel generator in the box and tap into the fuel tank.... run all them lights off that haha

Make sure you have a good contact at the grounds. To check that connection run a wire from the bolt you used as ground back to the - on the battery. If the lights are still the same then you have a good ground connection.

thats kinda what I have with all of them grounded to the front cross member. Should I ground them all to the battery negative terminal?

I would ground them back to the battery because the copper in wire is more conductive then the bolt to the chassis thus allowing more electrons to flow through faster. = more light.
