Tire sizes.... need help picking a size

I have a 06 dodge ram 1500. It has 285/70/17's BFG KM2's on it right now. I was looking at 315/70/17 tire and did not know if it would fit under the Ram or would i need a 2 inch leveling kit? The Ram is stock with no lift.
