My buddy I'm stationed with asked me to tow his Harley to a Toyota dealership yesterday, he had his heart set on an FJ Cruiser. Those things have a BU camera that displays in the mirror (optional, not standard). It looks like a normal autodimming mirror, but you put it in reverse and a COLOR picture shows up in one corner of the mirror. Pretty damn good picture too, its wireless, built right into the spare tire cover.

i hate mine. its wireless. narrow camera angle as rubberfrog said. even got pulled over for having it on my license plate. im going to move it and mount it underneath the 3rd brake light hopefully that way i can actually see what im going to back into. the static is annoying and the lens on the camera like to fog up. mine is the VR wireless from walmart.

Mine looks as good as any factory camera. In fact, the picture is better than the one in my wife's old pacifica and the one in her new volvo.
