Default Pinstripe opinions

Hey guys.

So I'm putting the truck back under the knife again. So far here is my plans

Painted sport bumper
Painted grill (with or without inserts is undecided)
Redo the tailgate paint to match the curved lines on the side of the truck.
Paint the cowl/ram air design black and add some airbrushed smoke
Airbrush a realistic smoke pinstripe to seperate the two (the smoke will start narrow and becom wide on the cab forming skulls in the smoke)

Any opinions on anything else I should or shouldn't do?

I didn't even think about that!
Thanks for the advice. Is it possible to smooth out the textured plastic?

Yes to the smoothing of the handles. takes time and a few coats of building primer.

Skull airbrushing seems very tedious? You would need to scuff off all of the clear in that area and re-shoot clear on the truck. Likey the entire sides again or down the the door bottom where door spears would go unless your really good at blending?

I plan on reclearing the whole truck because I wasn't happy with the way that this clear left a line on the two tone.
The smoke and skulls will like take about 2 weeks to do properly but I have a second gen to drive in the meantime. I plan on doing it this spring.

I'm going to check out lmc and I will definetely get the painted handles done.
As for the mirrors I might take these ones off fill the hole and mount a smaller painted motorcycle mirror in it's place.

why would you do that? IMO that would look bad, and your visibility will be terrible. big thumbs up to the painted bumpers and door handles. get rid of all that chrome

Def don't get smaller mirrors. Ricerish and they look ridiculous, not to mention you won't be able to see squat. Save your money and put it towards painting materials.
