Default Cold air intake

Im thinking about putting a cold air intake on my 2003 ram 1500. Does it make a big difference and what brand should i go with?

It doesn't make much of a difference in mpg, but it will give you some power in the higher rpm's. As for brand get a mopar/aem knockoff they have lots of names like velocity, kool vue, bomz and are about $70 then buy a better filter for it like the AEM dryflow.

BFI or Vararam. All others just suck air lol

I love my K&N but if I had to pay full price (found on ebay for super cheap) I would have done what Chambers said. The K&N 57 has a plastic tube I doesn't heat up like metal tubes.
