They probably mean wheel hop...when your tires are spinning and trying to get traction, and they do very quickly then lose traction again, it makes the rear springs "wrap" some, and the back end hops.

My back end hops around like crazy when going across well worn (rutted) intersections at low speed. It feels like my back end is on a pog stick except it cycles up and down really fast. Just enough to be disconcerning. The only problem I have when I stomp the gas from a full stop in the infamous "One wheel peel" or as I've heard other "One tire fire"

Yup, the one tire fire. That is why I'm looking into the Powetrax. I just need to see some + feedback before I sink money into it and then realize I hate it or the driveablity isnt there.

The powertrax units are nice...but they are noisy. They clank when you turn, they clank when you back up. Thats just what they do.

nasty bed hop. it occurs above 60 mph and only on certain stretches of hwy. it feels like the shoch/spring rates don't match each other. i took it in to what is supposed to be a 5 star dealership, the first thing they said was "probably just the highway i was driving on" yeah, like this is the only vehicle i've ever drivin and that was the only time i've ever been on I-35...jackasses. i have an '04 1500 4x4 q-cab long bed. i don't know if the extra long wheel base has anything to do with it but others with shorter wheelbases say they have no problems

A buddy of mine destroyed 2 Lock Rights. I wouldn't go near them. He's got a 73 w100 with a 318 (edel performer intake and carb, comp cam, hooker headers, flowmaster 30) so he's not making tons of power, and he's got 31x9.50 mud tires so he doesn't have super contact patches. His truck weighs about 4000 lbs. Before you ask why he's got a 9.25" in it, the 8.75 grenaded due to lack of oil when he picked it up ($300 truck, what do you want?).
