Smile crank torsion bars???

I posted a thread previously about putting a leveling kit on my dodge 4x4 2006 1500 quad cab. someone told me i could just crank my torsion bars... is this possible and how would i do this? my original question was what leveling kit should i get? and i have heard that people are having alot of problems with them ... so is getting a leveling kit a good idea?

You should probably search this before you get yelled at!!! but anyways you need coil spacers on your 06...you don't have torsion bars i believe...

Motorsporta59 is correct, 3rd Gen Ram 4x4s built from '02-'05 (excluding Mega Cabs) have torsion bar front ends. Options are to do the "free lift" and crank them up or buy leveling keys. For '06+ you have a coil over front end. No bolts. The level kit would consist of two coil spacers...
