chrome or smoke tail lighs?
ya its got a chrome back bumper and chrome grill with black honeycomb, with matching chrome bug deflector, i was differently leaning towards smoked. i do agree that there is a limit to chrome!
I will take some pictures with my blackberry tomorrow (wont be the best but you guys will get the idea)

Chrome is like alcohol, in moderation it's ok but when you get too much people get wild stick plungers up their butt and whatnot and it's just a bad day for everyone. On a serious note I freakin hate the look of chrome taillights especially on trucks. Makes it look like a big ugly european piece of crap imo. But to each his own.
Seriously though, that's all cosmetics and 100% up to personal taste. I am not really "into" chrome, but I do really like diamond plate, but don't really care for black diamond plate.
Chrome is a fad, and like any fad, it comes and goes. It's primarily a generation thing for the most part. When I was in my teens and early twenties, in the late '80s and early '90s, chrome was "in". Hell, if I had half the money I spent on chrome for my motorcycles back then, I could put a nice down payment on a CTD today, LOL.
It's also a bit regional. When we were running TOTM's every month and happened to be in Ga., I'd always show who was running to my hunting club buddies up there. All 4x4 owners and ranging in age from early 20s to mid 50s. To a man, everybody would bad mouth the "blacked out" trucks and tell me I had a screw loose if I voted for it.
So I guess it's both an age and a regional thing. But yeah, right now, "blacked out" is in for most younger guys in most places, no doubt.
To be honest, I started going that way. I had some pics of my truck with black tool box, black Westin nerfs and black rail/tailgate covers. Unfortunately, all early truck pics were not digital and the ex took all the photo albums when we split.
I was actually about to order black rims and stepped back and decided I didn't really like the way the truck was turning out and did a 180* and went to diamond plate, stainless and chrome. I like the way it turned out and really, that's all that matters...

Actually here is one I found, just after I pulled the black tool box and bought the Mickey Thompson Classic wheels. But as you can see the nerfs and bed rail covers are still black.

and currently:

to me, there is no comparison...

well even though i have a all black truck, i would trade for the same truck but in white ANY day. Black is the best looking color but is also the worst looking color when not taken care of. But black wheels for me forever.
I like chrome, tastefully done chrome. It also depends on what the color and/or type of vehicle it is. I personally think my truck will look sick "blacked out", with it being silver. On the other hand, the wife's Durango looks mighty slick with the chrome 17's. Whenever I get the chance to up the rim size, they'll stay chrome, cause it looks good against the "champagne" color.
OP, Id say stick to the smoked lights. The 'alteeza' lights are very very very very outplayed and outdated. Be sure to get that matching 3rd light too
