its my outer joint that broke. not sure this kit would do any better for me there.

...at least i think it was the outer one. not terribly sure how the lift affects the inner vs outer joints. i only know the whole thing is at a greater angle

well i've been lookin around all day and cant find jack. short of payin $500+ for a single CV axle from kore or similar, seems like the only option is an OEM replacement

Sometimes things don't just come in a bolt on kit, it might take a little research but **** people have been have been modifying parts from different makes to fit on their cars since the beginning of hot rodding, in fact that's exactly how hot rodding and car modding started.

Contact a driveline shop and see what your options are, the joints themselves don't look too expensive, you just need to find away to put it all together. I'm sure Kore doesn't have the market cornered on the knowledge it takes to build a custom half shaft but as everybody always likes to say on this site, if your gonna replace it upgrade it.

I'd just replace it for now and start looking into a custom jobber for the future.

Hell, I don't see an easy solution for you AF. I mean if it's gonna be $500+ EACH for bullet proof CVs, then I think I'd seriously think about just putting that money into a higher end suspension lift kit and ditching the Fabtech.
Short of that, I guess just keep a OE CV axle on hand and plan on swapping them out as they break...

AF, I'd like to see a pic of your cv angles.

I don't see why you can't use a diff drop bracket and t-case reindexing ring from another kit to take of those cv angles.

Email procomp and ask them for a part# for the diff brackets. Here's the part number for the tcase reindexing ring- procomp 56701 They run about $250.

KORE sells the high angle inner CV joint as a kit. They do not (AFAIK) have one for the outter CV's. According to everything I have read, the outter CV's on the dodge is supposed to be ok, it's the inner CV's that lack the ability to articulate enough for a level kit or hard core off roading.

They sell the inner kit for $675 (high angle inner CV's, high angle boots, grease etc).

I've seen some Pro Comp lifts... and they do a really good job of keeping the CV angle close to stock. As does BDS...

for now im just gonna replace it with an OEM. George thanks for that info, i'll look into that for the near future. I noticed a couple months ago the ring holding the boot on came loose, allowing debris in there. i knew it wouldnt be long before the joint got destroyed
