I got a 2005 ram with the Hemi. I was screwin around with my truck and I accidently broke a sensor on the intake manifold. I glued it back together to hopefully keep me going. I was wondering what this sensor does? Is this the map sensor? Its located at the front of the intake manifold and it does a 180 or 90 degree turn to install or remove it.

 

i believe you are talking about the maf sensor "mass air flow" i broke mine on an other car when installing cold air intake and it would not even try to start. that sensor tells your computer how how much air your sucking in . if busted try the junk yard and save some cash
