Default Bypassing the 02 senor on cat??

So after looking at every youtube video of a ram hemi with a cutout welded after the cat they all sound not so loud. they all sound like my exhaust right now, {i have a glasspack no resinator). Maybe a tad louder but thats it. there must be a way. I want my cut out welded before the cat, then thats like open headers and it will be loud loud loud. its just not loud for me after the cat. Theres something i should be able to do. Will i thow codes only while the cut out is open if i weld before cat and then when i close it the codes go away. I dont know. I just know that I want my cut out to be welded before cat so I can get the most sound out of it.

We're you listening to them idle? Maybe you need to hear one in person because these trucks are loud when bypassing the muffler.

I have watched 15 videos on youtube with cut outs from dodge ram hemis and they all sound not as loud. Some were idleing and driving away and flooring it and I know that videos dont do the justice with the sound but they all sound like my exhaust right now. I mean I had a inline 6 jeep last year with a cut out before the cat and it was like a semi going by. So loud. look.

that has a different piping diameter than a hemi I think so the sound quality will be different. As for throwing codes - yes, you will throw codes when you go before the cat. There will be a CEL when it's open and I'm not sure if it will turn off when you close the cut out, my guess is you will have to turn it off manually. It's a PITA IMO if you're going before the cat.

Its the best exhaust mod to me. I always leave it open unless I spot cops nearby. Heres mine unboxed on Christmas from my girlfriend.
