Default Front Brakes Locked

Well like the title says....drove my truck half of the day with no problems. Then all of a sudden some idiot driving a Chevy tried to race around me before his lane ended so I had to slam on my brakes. No big deal, except that my front brakes locked up and would not release. I pulled it off the road and let it sit for a while when finally they released and seem to be working fine now. I have an 04 quad 4x4....any ideas what could have happened?

Definitely a problem with your anti-lock system. I would think either there is a fuse or there could be something wrong with the computer? Sorry I couldn't help much but here's a free bump.

Thats what I thought too...I pulled to ABS fuses and they were fine. Any other ideas from anyone?? Or should I just chalk it up as a freak one time thing?

It happened to my 2500 twice so bad I had to pull a wheel and crack a brake line. I had 3/4 pad in there @ the time. I wound up having to get two new calipers. While I was at it I decided to do a 100% brake job. OUCH! $1200.00 just in parts! That was front and rear and parking brake though.
