Default rear end question

Yea i been missing for awhile been with out my truck for some time now. I finally got it back after finding out what was going on with blowing three radiators. Well thats all fixed now that i've done it myself and buying a couple parts and of course tools.

My question is now is this truck is going to be leveled but not raising the front. i want to lower the back end. i've been told i can take the blocks out of the back and it will drop it down. i've heard that it could drop it, 1 to far and 2 will look like crap. but my question is if i did take the blocks out of the back would i hear any metal grinding anything poping when i hit a bump. this truck is stock in all right now. i even scrap going up my drive way but i don't mind parking it on the grass till i eventually go back home and start some serious work.

So anyone actually removed the blocks or am i just trying to come up with a cheap way to drop this truck. not trying to slam it to the floor just wanna level it out right now
