Default Smoked Headlights

I'm sitting here contemplating buying stock headlights or euro headlights again because I hate my headlights , but I'm thinking it may just because the manufacturer did a poor job at truly smoking them. They just don't seem to blend in with the truck enough but these other lights seem to be a little more aggressive and dark (at least in my eyes), what do ya guys think??

Here's the ebay lights:

Here's what I have now:

Your ones you have on now are not black at all. Like you said they look dull and foogy. If I was you I would just buy the headlight covers. There cheap and are black not smoke black. I had them on my 07 and I loved them. The ones on ebay you posted look the same as yours. Get the covers. will go nice with a all black truck like yours.

I love the look of the covers but I had really bad luck seeing with them on my previous '01 Ram. Everybody complimented the look during the day, but as soon as night came around my lights look dull and I couldn't see crap, especially when it was raining or blizzarding.

The first link say a dark smoked and looked alittle darker but still I think its just the factory pic they have. I think its going to be the same color like you have. Just go for the covers man. I better deal and The right cover

I agree that the ones you recently found on ebay will probably turn out to be similar to what you have on your truck now. Do you still have your original factory headlight assemblies? If so you can take them to a shop that will custom spray tint them with paint. I forget the process but its just a fine layer or two of of black paint or whatever color you want mixed with a clear base I believe which makes it translucent. That way light will still go through. I wouldn't do them more than a layer or two though because you want your light to actually do something for you lol. My friend did his 07' Ram and they came out really nice. It can always be wet sanded down with a high grit sand paper if it is too dark and be redone. Look into it! It is just like what everyone does with their taillights on 300's and Chargers when they are all blacked out except they use more layers of paint.
