Default New Truck Delivery

Just got a voice mail from my dealer saying that they received an e-mail from DM today stating that the new truck deliveries are being held up about a month due to some part that has to be verified on each truck before they can be released for shipment. So I wait a little longer---oh, well

I ordered a 2500 with getrag 6-spd laramie pkg. tow package, bed sprayed, protection package etc. The dealer said it had something to do with safety but wouldn't tell me what.

it's the tranny

aparently the fix is to make sure the tranny is full to the fill hole, then add a quart of oil to the tranny through the shifter hole.

what was happeneing was the rear bearings of the tranny were literaly blowing apart from the torque of the engine.

there has also been reports of the dual mass flywheel falling apart as well.

Well that explains my Diesels sitting out on the back of the lot with 6 speeds that they will not let us sell.

Thanks for the heads up, I read all of the bullitins and emails but cannot see the serivce bulitins. It would help us to know what is going on also.
